Whittingham House is a privately owned registered care home providing accommodation and support for up to 76 elderly people who need personal care and are unable to continue living at home.

The home itself is situated near the heart of Southend-on-Sea town centre and a few minutes away from the sea-front.

Over the past 18 months, Whittingham House has undergone drastic redevelopment.  Previously housing 50 residents, Whittingham House now boasts and additional 26 new bedrooms all with en-suites, conservatory, lounge, activities room, bathrooms and an extended dining area.

The entire building is purpose built for maximum ease of access and comfort for all our residents.  Whittingham also has a purpose built salon on site.  Hairdressers visit weekly for all residents.
